Causeway

A one-day music festival on Skerrow Island, Saturday 19 June 2027. Getting there means a walk over 1.2 km of tidal causeway.

The crossing

1.2 km, on foot

Skerrow Island is reached on foot, over a 1.2 km tidal causeway. The causeway opens twice on the day: once to get in, once to get out.

Both windows come straight from that day's tide times. Nobody crosses outside those windows, full stop. The harbour boat is for emergencies only.

The last set ends at 21:45, so everyone reaches the causeway in time.

Wear boots

Parts of the causeway are wet sand and seaweed, so boots, really. Not the good shoes.
